Joe Prado began his comic career working in the Brazilian Market of comics, starting with the mini-series "U.F.O Team", written by Marcelo Cassaro (of Image´s "Victory" fame).
Over the years Joe has worked in virtually every graphic medium conceivable, from comics to editorial illustration, from advertising to graphic design and from Fantasy illustration to teaching Fine Arts.
In 2004, Joe had his first break in the US Comics Market sharing the penciling duties with Ivan Reis on "Action Comics" for DC Comics.  Since then, Joe has been working on some of the most popular titles in comics today, such as "Superman", "Birds of Prey", and on the much acclaimed "Rann/Thanagar War" series!  Joe has worked on other fan favorites such as "The Phantom", "Teen Titans & Legion" and "52".
Joe's eye for detail is most evident on his spectacular cover work which can be seen gracing many issues of "Red Sonja" and "Battlestar Galactica" for Dynamite! Comics.
Joe's most recent work is a "One-Shot" entitled "Green Lantern/Sinestro Corps" as well as "Checkmate" and "Black Canary" all for DC comics, and a 2-part story of the "Witchblade" for Top Cow.   Joe was hand chosen by Mike Grell for the relaunch of his highly acclaimed series "The Warlord", Joe had long admired Mike's work and his characters.

Joe can create a one-of-a-kind piece that anyone would be proud to display. These are just some samples of Joe's talent.
Joe hails from São Paulo, Brazil.
